It's tradition, whenever I'm in the UP for more than one day, I WILL be at the gate of Seney Wildlife Refuge when they open. That means a lot of fog usually, since most of my trips in the last several years have been in autumn. So this time we rolled out of Munising at 7 something and headed down the stretch, right into the sunrise.
I'm sure no one who knows me ( well, or anyone I know, frankly) would have been able to NOT stop and shoot this.
Roadside between Munising and Seney, Michigan's UP.
I have a vertical shot I actually liked the comp on a bit better, but there's a freaking car's headlights I can't quite crop out without ruining it.
