Whoops, I almost broke my plan to upload a photo a day on the second day!
Another shot from El Yunque in P.R, though since it's just one tree, it could be almost anywhere. I only know where it is because of the pics around it. *L*
Just a tree isn't very interesting, I know, but the gloomy sky behind it looks cool to me. *L*
EDIT: Huh, tree ferns do still exist, and I guess I need to get out more. *L* Thank goodness for wikipedia, because the commenter who mentioned it didn't seem to have any info or evidence beyond 'well, _I_ think so' despit emy asking. So I looked it up myself because I was curious, not because it matters to anyone.
It's possible, I admit I'm a north woods girl and don't know my tropical foliage. It was definitely tree sized, but the only tree sized ferns this geology chick knows are extinct. *L* If you know where I could look it up or whatever I'd be happy to do an edit. ^_^
