But I actually have a camera capable of printing to those larger sizes now, IF I wanted to. Just not sure there's much point, or if it would be worth it.
First, I get an average of a whopping 2 favs per pic, so the odds of getting a purchase are slim. I'm just not to that point yet I think.
Second, I'd have to upload the big files which I've always avoided, for both ease of loading for some people, and also so people can't just download them and go make their own prints for free. They could try with these little 72dpi files but they'd get a mediocre 4x6. Whatever.
Third, if I was gonna sell prints I could make and mail them myself and have a better idea of who's buying them AND a bit more excitement by doing it myself, not to mention a likely slightly better profit margin. But again, I'm not foreseeing a lot of demand. And I'd probably have to get off my butt and build that website. Heh. *looks guilty*
So that's why I haven't offered prints with any of my shots. Anyone else have opinions on this? I know people who do and those who don't, and I'm sure we all have our own set of reasons.
And of course, if you ever DO want a print, please just ask. I'll either upload a printable version (if I have one, pics shot with Baby are still only 3 mp and many of the versions you see here are cropped from that even) or I'll print you up one and send it off.
Speaking of I still have Duncan's prints sitting here from Christmas. REALLY need to mail those, huh? *headdesk* Maybe I shouldn't try to sell them myself.
